Ally Lama is built with your privacy at its core. This policy explains how we handle your information.
1. What We Collect
We collect the minimum necessary to provide the service:
- Authentication data — When you sign in with Apple, Google, or email, your sign-in provider (Apple, Google, or Firebase) processes your credentials. We receive a unique user ID and, if applicable, your email address. This is used solely to identify your account.
- Name and age — You provide these during onboarding. They are stored locally on your device and used to personalise your experience with Ally Lama.
- Conversation messages — Your conversations with Ally Lama are stored locally on your device only. They are not uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties.
2. How Your Conversations Are Processed
When you send a message to Ally Lama, the content is transmitted to Dify (our AI processing partner) to generate a response. This transmission is necessary for the service to function. Dify processes your message in real time and returns Ally Lama's response. We do not store your conversation content on any server — only your device does.

3. What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
- We do not use your conversations for advertising.
- We do not build profiles on you.
- We do not share your data with any third party beyond what is described above.
4. Data Storage and Security
All conversation data lives on your device. If you delete the app, your conversations are deleted with it. Authentication is handled securely through Firebase, a Google service. You can review Firebase's privacy practices at: firebase.google.com/support/privacy
5. Children
Ally Lama is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
6. Your Rights
You may erase your account and all associated data at any time using the "Erase My Account" option in Settings → Account. This will permanently delete your account, all saved chats, and all stored settings. Locally stored conversations can also be deleted individually by swiping left on a saved chat, or through the options button on the top right of the chat screen.
